“I’m fine on my own, thank you!” He assured, though he would not reject the company if he offered. “I have been taught to defend myself too, remember?”

     “I remember.” He remembered it quite well actually, and the thought brought a soft smile to his face and a warm feeling to his heart. “But things were different then, and it’s my job to be sure you only have to use those skills if you have to.”
